Doc Miller is an artisan stonemason with over 30 years of experience. Doc's knowledge of his craft is displayed in a wide variety of work, with projects ranging from restoring 17th century stone structures to constructing one of a kind pool patios.
The garden walls, walkways, fireplaces and patios he creates reflect the era of their surroundings. whether it is an 18th century farmhouse, a craftsman cottage, chimney or addition to a modern home, the finished product is seamless.
Doc has consulted and worked on the restoration of the Obadiah LaTourette Grist and Saw Mill in Long Valley N.J. as well as the historic Asbury Grist Mill of Asbury N.J. He worked on the rebuilding of the Old Turnpike Road bridge, which spans the Musconetcong River in Stephensburg New Jersey. He rebuilt the Lockatong spillway on the D&R Canal, using mostly original stone. Doc also consulted on the restoration of the stone walls that line the canal, which travels alongside the Delaware River in Stockton N.J.
